10/5 stars -- 200% guaranteed FANTASTIC. I walked in literally afraid to hold a guitar and by the first session, I could not imagine ever being afraid. After about 6 months, I was playing through the chords of songs, something I never thought possible. When things pop up in life, Chadwick has no problem working to create manageable routines. And when I could not practice and fell behind for various reasons, there was no judgement, which is an amazing trait. Could not recommend anyone better.

I am an older student (mid 30s), and have a musical background, but not in guitar and haven’t played anything in about 15yrs. I decided to pick up the guitar during the pandemic and fiddled around for about a year and got to what I felt was a decent place, but had plateaued in my self-teaching. I searched online for a while before deciding to try lessons with Chad. I did not want some guy who has just been playing for a long time showing me the basics and just jamming. Chad is professionally trained and takes an analytical approach to learning in general. I was amazed at how much proper technique I was actually missing. Chad tailors the lessons to your skill level and tries to incorporate a variety of techniques and pieces, so that lessons don’t get repetitive or boring. He is professional and an excellent instructor. Anyone on the fence about checking him out should definitely give him a call. You won’t be disappointed.

Chad is a outstanding teacher. If you appreciate a clear, knowledgeable, wise and methodical teacher hi is your man, I'm past my year and half mark of taking lessons from not knowing anything and now I have the confidence to be on a band as a rythm guitarist, by the way, I'm 51 years old.

I am amazed that finally I can read notes and play classical guitar. I practice a lot to be average but i was someone who never thought i had it in me to even be average with notes and music. I love the songs I have mastered and provide myself with satisfaction and joy. I would recommend Chadwick Beck for professional lessons for anyone who wants to learn the guitar. He is a real teacher.

I have been a student at Charleston Classical Guitar for over six months. Chad has taken me from absolute beginner to a much higher level of play over that time. He is one of the best instructors I have ever had. He teaches more than guitar, he teaches his students how to learn. Chad in patient, kind and guiding. He is an accomplished guitarist and is always willing to share his knowledge with his students. I recommend him without reservation to both adult and child performers. You will learn more than you expected!

Chad’s been my guitar instructor for three years now, and I can’t recommend him enough. He’s been great at teaching a myriad of techniques and approaches to learn and improve my guitar playing. My lessons focused on classical and jazz guitar and Chad is very knowledgeable about both genres. His instruction can help make anyone a well rounded guitarist.
